  I'm sure the people working locally are all awesome - the CEO's rely heavily on the fact that their front-line staff are good, conscientious people. But BMO itself, as a business, is abusive.

  The Staff at BMO are friendly, helpful and extremely good at what they do. They have some of the best products among the top 5 banks. Their mortgage rates are unbeatable. Also their anti-fraud is impeccable. We had a problem with fraudulent activity and the branch manager himself called us to inform us and even resolved it for us. Highly recommend!

  BMO treats its customers with both contempt and apathy - an impressive combination. No local phone number, 17 minute wait for "Customer Service" just to be told that "we don't know why you can't accomplish your E-transfer. Just keep waiting." It's been in limbo for 36 hours - they won't even allow it to be cancelled. So they have my money - the sender is out his money, I'm out mine, and they won't even answer the phone.

  Contemptuous customer service. If they weren't a Bank I could have at least called the Police.
